What happens if I go over my storage?
New backups stop until you free some space or move up a tier. Nothing already backed up is deleted.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It is a permanent plan with 5 GB, one phone and one computer. There is no card and no countdown.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, up or down. Your files stay where they are; only the amount of room changes.
What does “shared” mean on the family plans?
The storage is one pool for the whole household, not an allowance each. A 2 TB family plan is 2 TB in total.
