Family plans

One plan for the house. Five private libraries.

The 2 TB and 6 TB plans cover up to five people. Everyone gets their own account, their own devices and their own space — the storage just comes out of one shared pool instead of five separate bills.

  • Up to 5 people, each with 3 phones and a computer
  • Private libraries: same plan does not mean shared photos
  • One shared pool of storage, and one payment

2 TB, shared across all five

Whoever takes the most photos simply uses more of the pool.

How it works

Shared storage, separate lives.

The point of a family plan is one bill, not one photo library. These two things are kept apart on purpose.

Up to five people

Invite the household. Each person signs in with their own account, not a shared password.

Three phones each

Plus a computer each. A family of five is a lot of devices, and they all fit.

Separate, private spaces

Being on the same plan does not mean sharing a library. Each person keeps their own.

One bill

One plan for the household instead of five separate subscriptions.

The two family plans

Two sizes, depending on how much video there is.

Family
$12.99/mo

A household. One bill instead of five, one pool of storage.

  • Up to 5 people
  • 3 phones each, 1 computer each
  • or $129.99 a year
6 TB
Family
$29.99/mo

A big family, years of 4K video, or everyone on a big laptop.

  • 6 TB shared
  • Up to 5 people
  • 3 phones each, 1 computer each
  • or $299.99 a year
Worth knowing

The storage is shared, not multiplied.

A 2 TB family plan means 2 TB for the household in total, not 2 TB each. In practice that is the arrangement people actually want: one person with a huge camera roll and three people with small ones all fit comfortably, and nobody has to manage an allowance.

  • 2 TB Family is 2 TB across everyone
  • 6 TB Family is 6 TB across everyone
  • No per-person quota to police
