Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions, Answered – Everything You Need to Know About Nygma’s Zero-Knowledge Security.

1. What makes Nygma different from other encrypted storage services?

Nygma uses a true zero-knowledge architecture — meaning we don’t just promise not to look at your data; we technically can’t.

2. What happens if Nygma is legally asked to hand over my files?

We can only provide encrypted data. We don’t have access to your password or keys, so no one — not even us can decrypt your files.

3. Does Nygma store my password?

No.
Your password is used to generate encryption keys on your device, but it’s never stored or sent to our servers.

4. Is there a way to recover my account if I lose my password?

Only if you’ve saved your recovery key. Because of our security model, we cannot reset your password or unlock your files.

5. Will Nygma support collaboration and team features?

Yes — collaboration tools and team management are on the roadmap and coming in future updates.

6. What does “Zero-Knowledge” really mean?

It means Nygma has no access to your files, passwords, or encryption keys. Your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your device.

7. What does it mean to be an Early Founder?

You’ll get early access to features, help shape the platform with feedback, and unlock future perks for being part of Nygma from the beginning.
